Firstly, students will be given an introduction to some basic javascript codes and functions, event and event handlers. Also, how to insert javascript codes in a web HTML page including CSS. They will learn how to link external javascript file to a web page.

This course was created to equip students with the basic concepts of creating an Intelligent Virtual Assistant using javascript Speech Recognition API and Annyang library. Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesis ee will be used to help students along their path to create a web based AI Virtual Assistant. Learners will be using only HTML, CSS and javascript codes to create a web interface enabled with Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesis. The console window will also be used to output some results and how to interpret them when creating web applications.

Students will also learn how to setup the local Chrome web server to run their project. They will also learn how to use the console window to debug web application while creating their AI Virtual Assistant.

Moreover, students will learn how to create a multi-language intelligent Virtual Assistant. As bonus section, Speech Recognition using machine learning pre-trained models will also be introduced. In this section learners will be given demonstration using Tensorflow.JS to create their own AI Virtual Assistant using machine learning models.

The course contains useful resources to improve learning experiences and to be confident to create their own personal project.
