According to the author, "It makes sense too; much of what affects our lives and shapes our enviroment is unwittingly determined by economics and economists." The book prescribes what must be done for this transformation to occur. In part two of the book, the reader is treated to a number of well researched and articulated discussion papers on topical issues of Zambia's economy; from education to enviroment, mining taxes to oil procurement, electricity tarrifs to bank interest rates; all from the perspective of economic theory.
