Overview

This course covers the fundamentals of C# and Object Oriented Programming paradigms. Its bner friendly, with no skills required before starting. This course is ideal for people wanting to start their coding journey, whether they intend to go into games, web, software or any other type of coding project, this will help you get started.

At various check points code samples are provided just in case you get stuck, as well as 3 practice exercises to test your skill. At the end of the course we build a little text based RPG battle system to pull a lot of the topics together to show it all working under a bigger project.

Teaching Style

The way I like to teach code is to briefly explain the new topic and then get you to code the new thing with me. That way you get experience typing it and can test it immediately to see what the code does. When a trickier topic comes up, I always try to draw up the theory in a way that breaks down the coding jargon. We code together and that's part of the fun.

Who is Matt

Hey I'm Matt and I've been working in and around software/web/app/game dev for a good chunk of my life now. I've just hit 8 years of teaching at Universities, colleges and online too. I like to make games and art in my down when I'm not working or being dad. I try to keep the classroom a happy and chill place with an enthusiasm for the content which I hope you enjoy.
