This is the first class of a new series were I'm going to explore different styles and techniques of digital rendering. Matte Painting is, quite simply, the use of photography, textures, 3d graphics etc to aid in the rendering of a digitial painting. If you're new to matte painting in general this a perfect place to start. This is going to be a class very focused in photo manipulation with a very soft use of digital painting.

So, this is an intermediate level class, while not required to perform the techniques showed in the video I really recommend working along a digital tablet, very basic models are not that expensive and you'll see how it improves your art.
