The shutter - a Nikon novelty - is purely electronic, which enormously increases the scope in studio/flash photography. And of course the possibility to be able to assess the image in terms of exposure and depth of field in the viewfinder, as is the case with all mirrorless lenses. Despite the price of € 5,999, the Z9 received an unexpectedly large number of pre-orders, but availability will be limited until spring 2022 (release date of the book).
