They sampled the legendary Steinway D acoustic piano using 4 separate microphone positions: close (stereo and mono), medium, far and surroundings (room).

There are up to 12 speed layers for realistic results / scores. In addition, nearly 28 GB of uncompressed sample content was compressed to 6.3 GB. The Stein D Grand has many built-in effect modules, such as a 3-band equalizer, compressor, saturation, distortion, chorus, reverb, delay, stereo width and limiter. Its unique graphical interface has been designed to give the user complete control over the parameters and effects without slowing down the creative process.
