With that done, we'll move to survival in comfort - making some additional simple preparations and purchases that will take us from merely surviving to b able to ride out the storm in relative comfort and keep our family safe.Finally, we'll close out with a broader discussion of how you can create a home and a lifestyle that is more disaster-resistant, and less reliant on society's plan A for you and your family. We'll talk about solar power and about designing a house from the very bning to need less power - less power needed is less power you'll have to replace when the power goes out.Together, we'll think about what we wished we thought about before the problem, and create a solid plan for surviving the next disaster.
