SpaceClaim is a software company for creating and editing solid 3D models. The company is led by Michael Payne, a former co-founder of PTC and one of the founders of SolidWorks, who later served as an executive director at Spatial Corp. and chief technologist at Dassault Systemes.

SpaceClaim is a program for creating and editing solid 3D models, primarily aimed at eeers who need to contribute to product development, but who do not currently use any of the "primary" MCAD systems. The program can work with most 3D MCAD formats, as well as store data in its own, completely open format based on XML technology.
The SpaceClaim system can complement the NX functionality and improve the user experience.
