ArtRage is a real art studio for fans of painting and oil painting or pastel. This is one of the few graphic programs in which real-life professional tools are presented.
The developers tried to make a very simple interface, so that even those who had never run any graphic editors in their life could join the genre of painting. In the lower left corner is the main toolbox with brushes, paints of various kinds, pencils and airbrush. The only 2 "non-traditional" tools here are "Cloning" and "Transformation". The first allows you to make a mirror projection of the picture or its part, and the second is designed to change the proportions. Opposite the brushes is a color palette. On the top right, you can see the work panel with layers.
All instruments have their own set of modifiable properties: humidity, tilt, softness, pressure, rotation, sharpening and other parameters. By changing these indicators, you can achieve a realistic effect in your paintings. It also provides work with stencils and stickers: create your own sheets or use existing sets.
The main idea of the program is to show how easy it is to learn how to draw with real paints. Also, this editor will appeal to those artists who do not accept digital processing in Photoshop, but prefer real tools. It is enough to connect a graphics tablet to create your own works without fear of spoiling the canvas or spending the entire supply of colors.
