Avast Clear (Avast Removal Tool) is a tool for manual complete removal of Avast antivirus software in Safe Mode. Sometimes it is not possible to remove Avast in the standard way using the "Add or Remove Programs" control panel component. In this case, you can use the utility to remove Avast Clear.
How to remove Avast Antivirus:
1. Download avastclear.exe to your computer.
2. Start Windows in Safe Mode (When booting / restarting your computer, press F8. In the Advanced Windows Startup Menu, use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode).
3. Run the utility.
4. If you installed Avast not in the default folder, find the antivirus manually. (Warning: Be careful! The contents of the folder you select will be deleted!).
5. Click REMOVE.
6. Restart the computer.
