I'll be with you every step of the way, as we paint and explore our watercolors through abstract color field painting.First, we will take a look at our color wheel and choose our colors. I hope to inspire you to be very brave and choose contrasting colors to create vibrant, energetic paintings!Next, I'll we'll chat a little about the composition "Rule of Thirds".Once we have our plan for colors and composition, we are on to painting! I demonstrate 3 different color fields you can paint to create a cohesive collection (a set!) of paintings that you can frame and hang on your wall, use for craft projects, or even backgrounds for hand lettering.I focus on the basics, explaining each step as we paint together.We will practice watercolor techniques through our painting process, such as flat washes, gradient washes, and more.
