Chip Banking Browser (by Abelssoft) is your protective shield for secure and worry-free online banking.

Special banking mode for secure transactions, password generator for maximum security, real-time phishing protection, integrated security check, secure protection with advanced on-screen keyboard.

Together with Abelssoft, Chip Magazine has developed its own browser for online banking, with which you can secure your online transactions. The "Chip Banking Browser" blocks all unknown websites in banking mode. Phishing sites have no chance as they are not on the whitelist and are therefore not loaded. To protect against keyloggers, an on-screen keyboard can also be started via the keyboard icon.

The browser already offers a large number of banks that you can activate by default. However, if your bank is not included, you can simply add it. This address is then added to the whitelist and can also be accessed in secure banking mode. If you deactivate this mode, you can surf as normal with the "Chip BankingBrowser". The advantage over other browsers: No data is collected.

The green/red banking button at the top right (next to the browser address bar) can be used to switch between surfing and secure banking mode. There are three methods to add a bank website: A bank can be searched for on the Internet using the search function, clicked on and marked as trustworthy. Alternatively, the bank's website address can be copied into the search or selected from the list below.

Note: The program starts in English but the homepage and direct download link page are in German language. If you want you can translate it to English with 'Microsoft Bing Translator' or 'Google Translate' for example.
