I no long know who I am without the military. But my new physical therapist doesn't back down from my scowling and growling. Instead, she stares me down, challenging me while showing her strength and beauty.
Suddenly, I want to care for and protect her. Only she insists she can only be my physical therapist, and me, her patient. Then , on the side of the road, I have the chance to save her and show her that she doesn't have to carry the weight alone.
Maybe being saved isn't such a bad thing. If only she'll let me return the favor.
