All the topics necessary for the study of a real variable function are exposed; it starts from the "suspected" function, explaining its domain, positivity, intersections with axes and limits, and then goes on to analyze the function first derivative in terms of domain, positivity and limits and finally the positivity of the second derivative.
In the appendix the method described is applied to an example of mathematical function.
