This is a complementary course to any full course grammar course on an A1 level. You can start at any point in your A1 studies parallel to any other German course you are taking.

Are you preparing f your Goethe A1 a similiar exam with another German institute? Do you want to make sure you know all the wds you are supposed to know on this level? Here is your complete set of German vocabulary - Wtschatz - f your A1 test: me than 800 individual wds, plus some plural fms, including the areas wk, living, buying things, family, fms, education, traffic & travel, numbers, dates & me.

you might just want to bring your vocabulary up to date befe you move on to the next level, refresh your knowledge, fill some gaps.

This vocabulary course contains all the wds that are required f A1 as given out by the renowned German Goethe institute. You will be given the wds with an English translation as well as the wds in the context of a sentence, also with an English translation. And you can make a reverse test to check if it's all there.

Please note that there are no grammar explanations at all - this is strictly f vocabulary and meant as a complementary tool to whichever other course/source you might be wking with in der to complete your knowledge and make sure you covered everything befe you go into the exam.

The course contains active and passive vocabulary, which means wds you are able to come up with yourself and use in writing and speaking (active) as well as wds that you don't need to actually use at this point but will be able to recognize if you see hear them (passive). The latter are commonly wds that come up in test intructions in fms.

The vocabulary is categized partly alphabetically and partly in categies such as food, numbers travel (wds don't come up in both lectures, e.g. if Bahnhof appears in travel & traffic, it will not be in the in the lecture Wds starting with b). The choice was mostly based on either vocabulary being very specific to one categy suitable f several categies/used me generally. The choice of vocabulary is following Goethe guidelines - I did not pick these wds as being best suited f beginner use myself. However, even an established German institute is not perfect and you might know other wds that you feel are most definitely A1 that are not part of this set. That is totally fine - you can always go in there with me vocabulary, just not less :)
