Inviska ASS Stripper's primary purpose is to remove karaoke subtitles from Advanced Substation Alpha (ASS) scripts. Few people sing along to the romanji subtitles, or even read them at all, so karaoke subtitles cause only distraction and visual pollution. It can therefore be desirable to remove these subtitles, but a complex karaoke can run to thousands of lines and use a multitude of different styles, so removing them manually from a every episode in a series can be time consuming. With Inviska ASS Stripper you can remove all karaoke subtitles by simply checking a few boxes.

Aside from removing karaoke, Inviska ASS Stripper can also be useful if you want to merge the dialogue from one subtitle script with the signs from another. In this case you can strip the signs from one script and the dialogue from the other, then merge the scripts by pasting one into the other.

Inviska ASS Stripper allows you to:

Strip lines from script based on style.
Strip all comments from subtitle scripts.
Process multiple subtitle files simultaneously.
Outputs to new file so original script is not modified.

Fixed Clear List button - It seems I deleted the line of code that activated the Clear List button. This has now been fixed, so the button will once again be activated when files are added to the list.
Fixed Mac icon - There was a problem with the .icns file that prevented it displaying, but this has been fixed.
State of Add Files dialog now saved - The last open directory and other settings will now be restored.
Moved credits to About dialog - The credits dialog has been removed and the credits are now in the redesign About dialog.
Added Windows 32bit build - A 32bit Windows build has been added for users still on 32bit operating systems.
Updated to Qt 5.12.4 on all platforms - I've decided to stick with the Qt LTS releases from now on, unless there's a specific reason to use a non-LTS release. I'll switch to the next LTS release once the .2 update is out.
