This is a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) version of universal router OS from Juniper Networks. This appliance is targeted for virtualized infrastructure in Cloud and Datacenters, it can be integrated in the edge of a Cloud or Datacenter and it can be used for simulation and testing purposes as well.

Version 14.1 of vMX has the Virtual Forwarding Plane (VFP) and Virtual Control Plane (VCP) embedded in one software code release. A minimum of 1024 MB of RAM is required for this template to be up and running.

This is a pre-built router instance with following credentials to get access to the CLI and Shell:
Username: root
Password: root123
