I'd always been reckless, chasing adrenaline rushes and getting myself in trouble just to feel something. That lifestyle spilled over into work more often than not, and while I'd never had a problem conducting photoshoots in midair or underwater, my good luck was about to run out.
Trapped in a tornado with the one model who never failed to follow me into the fire, that rush turned to fear, and we found ourselves reminiscing about a life we hadn't lived yet. Cliff diving, seeing the northern lights, playing hide and seek in London... we fantasized about it all, so it seemed to me like the only way to celebrate our survival was to go and live the life we'd dreamed about.
And if my Rosey fell in love with me along the way... all the better.
I'd follow her over a cliff.
