A quick introduction to some of the most basic concepts when painting environments. Meant to show you a practical approach to them, and some techniques and exercises to strengthen your fundamentals in a fairly quick fashion.

Part 2. In this part, we will focus on the principals of color theory in a quick and practical fashion, and how I like to think about the subject when painting. Furthermore, we will take a look at some exercises to strengthen your skills.

Part 3. This part will focus on taking all skills learned in previous tutorials, and merging them all into one illustration demo. Hopefully this super quick intro to environment painting can get you started on exploring things on your own, and has inspired you to work harder.
