Micah doesn't really mind being the nurse for the Kavanagh Family. He knows that he isn't doing the most legal of things, but he could always be doing something worse. He's helping people, even if the people he's helping aren't exactly good guys. He doesn't even mind working for his uncle, Aaron, even when he's being cranky and hiding something that Micah can't quite figure out. He does mind being kidnapped because of the pretty boy he met in a cafe, however, and he hopes that Vincent is as quick about rescuing him as he was about rescuing his best friend, Edward.
Dmitri doesn't want to be involved in any crime, ever, not even tangentially. He just wants to cook delicious food and maybe meet a nice boy and settle down. He thinks he's hit the jackpot when he's hired as the private chef to Vincent Kavanagh, but he doesn't realize that Vincent is every bit as dangerous as the family he left behind. When Dmitri's family comes after him, he is both terrified and devastated, especially since the hot nurse from the cafe, the one he'd just been thinking about trying a relationship with, gets taken too.
