Hello! I'm glad you've decided to join me today! In this class were going to learn how to do a simple cell shaded portrait using digital drawing software. If you want to follow along traditionally that's fine too! I start by talking about the skull and the anatomy of the face and showing you my process of sketching. Then, we move on to line art and techniques to make it pop, such as adding hatching and line weight. I talk a little bit about color theory before we jump in and add color, and then I'll talk about cell shading and adding shadows and highlights without needing to blend them together. By the end of this class you'll have the knowledge to create your very own cell shaded portrait!
