In this class, we are going to layer watercolor, texture, and patterns to create these beautiful sampler pieces of art. I love expenting with color and pattern and know you will love this too. This is such a fun way to expent with colors and try out different mark-making techniques. I'm calling these samplers since they are riscent of vintage needlepoint samplers used to showcase color and needlepoint techniques.

We'll start out in our sketchbooks to get started and create ourselves a small reference library of color and marks. Then we'll move on to small striped samplers in our sketchbooks and finish off with a large sampler piece ready to frame.
